Jojoba Oil is extracted from the fruit of the jojoba tree, Simmondsia Chinensis, a hearty evergreen desert shrub indigenous to the arid areas of the Southern United States.
The name jojoba — pronounced “ho-ho-ba” — is a derivative of the Native American name for the seed, hohowi.
