Melbourne Pine Mushrooms

We have been supplying Melbourne‘s restaurants, cafes, specialty greengrocers and large markets with the highest quality wild foraged mushrooms over the past 3 years.

Our mushrooms are becoming more and more popular and sought after by the public. We are now very pleased to be able to offer our products to you at your local farmers‘ market.

Our mushrooms are foraged in pine forests in the Ballarat/Daylesford region. We forage Pine Mushrooms (also commonly known as Saffron Milk Caps) and Slippery Jack mushrooms. We also are able to forage very rare Victorian Porcini and Birch Boletes.

We pride ourselves on being able to offer a highly sustainable, healthy and seasonal resource. We pick and clean all our mushrooms ourselves, They are sold at the markets within 24 hours of picking to ensure the highest freshness, quality and longevity.

I am proud to say that we intend to offer our products for sale for a fraction of the retail price. Pine Mushrooms and Slippery Jacks both sell for $45 - $65 a kilo at major Melbourne Markets and specialty greengrocers. We will be selling them between $20 and $35 per kilo depending on size and availability. All the mushrooms we pick only grow in the wild and are not able to be farmed commercially or grown in any sort of artificial environment.

We look forward to seeing you at a farmers‘ market soon and introducing you to one of nature‘s most amazing edible gems.
