Menu planning - week 2

Now that school is back and the weather cooler, I like to cook some belly warmer meals that are great for left over lunches. They are also easy to put together and slow cook or super quick n easy for those time short evenings after sports.

Week 2 at Mulgrave in Autumn has some great stalls offering some amazing produce.

I like to start with the protein;

  • Fresco seafood - BIG tick
  • Otway Prime Beef - tick
  • Pindarri Poultry - tick
  • Hanricks Smallgoods - tick

Now lets make up some healthy meals:

  • Indivdual pizzas topped with Hanricks Chorizio sausage, thorpdale potatoes & silverbeet, Jindivick tomatoes and Bluebay goat feta.
  • Chicken breast skewers with Daryl‘s peanut butter satay sauce, served on a mixed salad/autumn roast veg.
  • Beef and broccoli stirfry served with Randall‘s organic rice. 
  • Panfried fish (in season) with Jindivick cherry tomatoes and wilted spinach.
  • Baked potatoes with guacamoli and tomatoe salsa
  • Zucchini and Leek Frittata - using Swampy‘s organic eggs.
  • Sunday ploughman‘s platter - using a selection of delcious produce collected on market day.
